God has really moved this week in our church and in our teenagers. We had a Sunday Campus Challenge at our church during the evening service. I led in some contemporary worship music, my youth group did a great drama skit, and showed the See You At The Pole Video. The service concluded with us bringing all of the teenagers, teachers, and administration in our church to the altar to kneel and then we had the members of the church to come and lay hands on them and we prayed for them. God really moved in an awesome way. You could really feel his presence. We had our Campus Prayer Journey last night and had a good turn out for that. Then lastly, this morning we had 70 students and 30 adults show up for See You At The Pole. It started off with one of the youth opening in a word of prayer, then they sang a worship chorus. Then one of the teenagers came and gave a short devotion followed by another worship chorus. Students then broke up into small groups and prayed with the adults getting in a small group of their own. Then, we concluded with a word of prayer. This has been the best week of See You At The Pole events I have ever participated in. Now we can only pray that God will use our teenagers to reach the rest of the teenage unbelievers.

Northport High School Northport,NY
In the school year of 04-05 eight students showed up for SYATP. They prayed that God would allow them to witness to other students in a different way then going up to them and telling them about God (when most of the time students wouldn't listen). They felt God urging them to pray at the flag pole once a year, but every week. They decided to meet at the flag pole every wednesday morning at 7am rain or shine to pray for their school and to live according to Matthew 5:14-16 YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A CITY ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN. NEITHER DO PEOPLE LIGHT A LAMP AND PUT IT UNDER A BOWL. INSTEAD THEY PUT IT ON A STAND, AND IT GIVES LIGHT TO EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE, IN THE SAME WAY, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD DEEDS AND PRAISE YOUR FATER IN HEAVEN.
That school year those eight students saw more people come to Chirst then any other year.
This year in the school year 06-07 students are starting up SYATP every week again. They are also starting up a Bible Club (with help from Long Island Youth For Christ). My request is that you pray for us to "Shine before men" like in 04-05.

Lake City High School Rathdrum,Idaho
Mark Modor, youth pastor at New Life Community Church (Assemblies of God) in Rathdrum, Idaho has experienced his share of all-night lock-ins.
After nearly eleven years of youth ministry, he decided it was time to take the lock-in experience beyond the walls of the church to the halls of the high school. The students from four campus Bible clubs in this Coeur d`Alene community hosted a lock-in at Lake City High School. Each club advertised the event via posters, bulletins, radio and assembly announcements, and ticket sales. The school administrators proved generous as they offered their facility and equipment rent-free.
An estimated 400 to 500 students and 75 adult leaders attended this first-ever campus lock-in. Students played volleyball, basketball, floor hockey, and Ping-Pong. Concerts were held all night long in the school auditorium. Another room provided Nintendo 64 and Sony Play Stations, while yet another room furnished movies with a big-screen projector. A DJ provided music in the food court area where refreshments were sold. All night long, there were contests, prizes, even a huge 100-person Twister board. When the clock struck 12-midnight, the amusements shut down, and students assembled to hear Modor speak for 15-20 minutes about starting the new year with God. Between 100 and 150 students responded to Modor`s invitation to commit their lives to the Lord. A room of counselors provided follow-up and each respondent was given a follow-up resource including 2 weeks of personal devotions. Students were excited about the event. As Modor commented, "Everyone`s looking for something to do on New Year`s Eve."
The school was so pleased with the outcome of the evening that they urged the campus Bible clubs to do the same next year, and asked, "What do you need? We`ll provide it."

University of Illinois Chicago,IL
One University of Illinois-Chicago student discovered a unique way to share the gospel-by cutting hair. Raashon Daniels from Living Water Assembly of God in Bolingbrook, Illinois always had his father cut his hair until Raashon learned how himself. He improved upon his skill, and found friends asking, "Where'd you get such a fresh haircut?" Raashon now cuts hair regularly in his dorm room. He shares, "When you're cutting someone's hair, you're gonna have to talk. As you learn what people are about you find some way to squeeze the gospel in the conversation. People always like to talk about religion. I share
about my relationship with Christ." Raashon's efforts have been fruitful. Last summer he led 2 people to Christ.

"This year was the first time I got to share Jesus with a girl at a Youth Alive meeting. She had known God before, but was not living for Him. I encouraged her and prayed with her. This year I determined to serve the people at my school and to give them every opportunity to come to the Lord. God has really been blessing our Youth Alive club and is using me to reach my campus. Our club is running about 40 members and growing. Every morning about 15 kids gather around the flagpole to pray. Friday mornings, the Youth Alive leadership prays with 2 of the Christian teachers on campus."

Since the Dare 2 Share Conference, my life has made a change for the better. While at the conference, I realized I had been living like a "Jumper Cable Christian". I realized that being a Christian meant apply my faith into every area of my life. I really enjoyed the activities we were involved in, mainly going to the mall and talking to complete strangers about Christ. Doing this made me aware of how many people do not believe in Christ. It is a truly wonderful feeling to know I that I might have planted a seed in some one's life about considering Jesus as their Savior. God was really working through me that day, and continues to do so at my school. So far, I have talked to at least seventy to seventy five people about Christ. Many of them have started to consider Christ for the very first time in their life, others have had there fading faith restored. It gives me a warm feeling inside to know that God enabled me to share with my peers. Dare 2 Share is what gave me the push and encouragement to talk to my friends and maintain my walk with God. Going to the Dare 2 Share conference was one of the best decisions that I have evermade.

Edgewood High School Ashtabula,Ohio
It all began with a kid and a flagpole. Tom Andes, a student at Edgewood High School in Ashtabula, Ohio, was challenged last year at a fall retreat to change his school for God. He didn`t leave the retreat with a generic, "I`m-gonna-do-great-things-for-God" attitude, but felt God gave him a specific assignment-to pray daily at his school flagpole. Annually, students turn out nationwide for the fall "See You At the Pole" event; however, Tom felt he was to raise the standard. God called him to pray at the flagpole daily. He was the sole participant for a week; another student joined the second week. By Christmas break, ten students were praying daily, even in the bitter cold of a northeast Ohio winter. Headway continued as 24 students gathered in March, but it didn`t end there. Christian students at other schools caught the same vision. Jefferson High School, also in Ashtabula, had 41 students praying daily at the flagpole by the end of the school year. Teachers, and even the principal who was initially cool and cautious toward any form of school prayer, joined the prayer circle at the invitation of students in May. Ashtabula High School, known to be last in academics and athletics throughout the county, surpassed all others with 42 in attendance the last day of school, almost tripling in size in three weeks.

Big Sky High School Missoula,Montana
As students decked in caps and gowns assembled for the graduation ceremony at Big Sky High School, Missoula, Montana, graduate Jennifer Dalton resolved to leave a permanent Christian witness for her student body and community. Jennifer was scheduled to sing a solo at the graduation and asked her principal if she could pray before her song. He adamantly responded, "No. We have a policy that forbids this." He threatened to have her arrested if she pursued. When Jennifer asked to see the policy, the principal could not produce it-there was none. In fact, another school in the same district had an invocation and benediction at their graduation ceremony. Jennifer called the local police to see if there was any merit to the principal`s threat. There was not-she was committing no crime at all.
As Jennifer came to the platform to sing, she spoke into the microphone, "This prayer is not endorsed by the Missoula..." Jennifer`s microphone was abruptly turned off. The packed crowd stood to their feet and applauded Jennifer, shouting, "Just go ahead and pray, Jennifer. We can hear you! God hears you!" Jennifer prayed.
Jennifer, who was saved two years prior to this event through the witness of her cheerleading coach, used these circumstances to witness to her family. Her father, who announced he would not attend the graduation, changed his mind and affirmed, "If this is what you want to do, we`ll support you 100%." Very recently, Jennifer`s mom attended church for the first time.

Christian students at a Dallas/Fort Worth area church were challenged by their youth pastor to pass out the Book of Hope to their classmates. One student kept copies of the Book of Hope in her locker. One morning while she was at her locker, a friend approached her crying. The girl had just learned her parents were getting a divorce. She was devastated. The Christian girl gave her the Book of Hope. "Read this. It will help you," she said. As the girl started to read the Book of Hope she saw the title, "My Parents Are Divorced." She read more. Later the Christian student prayed with the girl and she accepted Christ.

Recently, our local Student Venture has upgraded our training in descipleship and we prayed for about forty students to arrive to our first meeting. God gave us over fifty kids that were thirsty for Christ, and they are still with us today! We are training these young students to go forth and make more desciples of Christ! God is changing our campuses with more Christians in the battle fields of our schools. He has trained and armed us to go out there and defeat Satan to bring in more believers. Thank you God!

,
The last month of school was awesome. My friends who I was praying for all year started asking me questions about life and God and faith. The same thing was happening to a friend of mine who is also a Christian. We decided together to start a group to answer and discuss these questions. More people heard about the group and there will be five of our friends who have never been to Church coming. We will be meeting Tuesday afternoons and keep going all summer! And I was ready to think stuff was just going to happen in the school year!

I just started a Christian Club at my school and its been a walk on the water throughout the entire year.
Now we meet every Friday after school for a bible study as well as prayer on the football field before school. We started off with about three members and ended up with around sixteen and I`m believing in God for much much more in the years to come.

God, from day one, birthed in me the desire and heart for my school. He said it would be a domino affect. That one would get saved the it would be like a chain reaction.
God didn`t tell me when and how it was going to happen, but I knew it was God so I just listened and obeyed. I saw some incredible things. God used me in a way that just blew my mind. We met everyday at 7:30-8:15 and we saw so many healings take place right before our eyes.
We saw relationships between kids and parents restored. Families who were out of church are now back in church. People saved. When I came into my freshman year it was me and Mr.Boon. We are now at 30-35 people when everyone is there. Everything we do in our schools has to be bathed in prayer. God said "if my people who are called by my name, would humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear them and heal their land." Pray guys Pray and God will change your school. May not know when, how, or what time but He will so just be willing to be used and God will use you.
